Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce the microcapsules of a core material efficiently in a short time by dispersing an aqueous soln. or aqueous dispersion of said core material into an ethyl acetate soln. of a high polymer material and redispersing this dispersion into a large amount of water. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous soln. or aqueous dispersion of a core material is added into an ethyl acetate soln. of a high polymer material which serves as the coating material for microcapsules, and these are dispersed into fine particles of suitable sizes with the aid of a homogenizer or the like. This dispersion is redispresed into a large amount of water in order to prevent the particles contg. the dispersed core material from flocculating each other and solidifying as well as to accelerate the desolvation from the coating structure of the particle surfaces. Good results will be obtained as well by beforehand dissolving a small amount of a nonionic surfactant in the water to be redispersed with the particles.
