Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the distortion rate characteristic, by reducing the idling current of the SEPP circuit of the push-pull amplifier for no signal and by increasing this idling current for reproducing of a large sound volume.
CONSTITUTION: When signals do not come to input terminals 1a and 1b, no signals are supplied to input terminals 3a and 3b of bias setting circuit 3, and therefore, the idling current of approximately 50mA is flowed to transistors Q13 and Q14 and resistances R18 and R19 of SEPP circuit 2. Meanwhile, when high-level signals come to input terminals 3a and 3b, power is supplied to resistance R15 of bias circuit 2', and the idling current of approximately 200mA is flowed to transistors Q13 and Q14 and resistances R18 and R19.
