Abstract

PURPOSE:To detect the presence or absence of flaws of the inside surface of a pipe surely and easily by housing and disposing an image pickup device in the pipe, moving these relatively in an axial direction, and lighting the inside of the pipe by the light projecting mechanism provided to the image pickup device. CONSTITUTION:A steel pipe 1 is placed horizontally on the guides 2 installed along the axial direction. An impage pickup device 3 is housed in the steel pipe 1 movably along the axial direction. One end of a housing 7 protrudes from one side of the body 4 along the pipe axis direction and a light projecting mechanism 7 is mounted to one end thereof.
