Abstract
PURPOSE: To prevent an electric motor vehicle from occurring an abrupt shock by generating a reference voltage slightly increasing or decreasing the output voltage at the movable terminal of an accelerator resistor when the accelerator is fully opened responsive to the heated state of a chopper circuit.
CONSTITUTION: If the temperature of a chopper circuit 13 is in an ordinary state, since the resistance value of a thermistor is low, the potential at the point A is higher than that at the point B. When the operating amount of an accelerator is increased, the potential of the movable terminal C is raised, and the duty cycle of the chopper circuit 13 is increased. If the accelerator is fully opened, a transistor 18 is conducted on, and a bypass contactor 15 is closed. If the temperature of the chopper circuit 13 is raised, the resistance value of the thermistor 2 is increased, and the potential at the point A becomes lower than that at the point A. Thus, the duty cycle becomes lower, and the closure of the bypass contactor 15 is prevented.
