Abstract

PURPOSE: To promote effectively vulcanization by using α-aminocyclohexanone oxime as a vulcanization accelerator when a natural rubber or a synthetic rubber is vulcanized.
CONSTITUTION: Chlorocyclohexane is used as a starting material to obtain chlorocyclohexanone oxime from which α-aminocyclohexanone oxime is produced. 0.5W 3pts.wt. this α-aminocyclohexanone oxime as a vulcanization accelerator is added to 100pts.wt. rubber when a natural rubber or a synthetic rubber is vulcanized. Pref. the above accelerator is used together with other vulcanization accelerator such as dibenzothiazyl disulfide or mercaptobenzothiazole. The resulting rubber mixt. is kneaded with other necessary additives. Then the resulting mixt. is molded and vulcanized. By this operation, the rubber is effectively vulcanized. The α-aminocyclohexanone oxime can easily be handled because the compd. is nonhygroscopic and exhibits good dispersibility in the rubber.
