Abstract

PURPOSE: To exactly detect washing time as well as make easier the regulation of the washing time by detecting washing time for an electrical dust collector by integrating the frequency of arc discharge.
CONSTITUTION: In dust collecting electrodes, an arc integration signal S2 is generated from a pulse generating circuit 8a synchronously with the generation of an arc signal S1, and a transistor 9b is on and a current I2 is flowed in response to the signal S2. Then an electrolytical integrating element 9a begins to integrate the current. Since, after the completion of the integration, its internal resistance goes up and both end-voltage is raised, the potential at the point P is lowered correspondingly. Thereby, a thyristor 9d becomes ON due to the flow of gate current and a washing signal S4 is generated from cathode, whereby a driver 10 actuates a display element 11 to indicate the arrival of washing time for the dust collector. The regulation of the washing time is easily performed by adjusting variable resistances 8c and 12a.
