Abstract

PURPOSE: To perform easy conversion of the relative displacement in a rotary angle between input and output shafts into the axial displacement of a spool valve, by swivellably supporting a lever to the input shaft and inserting a pin fixed to the output shaft into notch provided at one end side of the said lever.
CONSTITUTION: An input shaft 1 for receiving an input action from a steering handle and an output shaft 2 are linked through a rotary motion locking part 3 in such a manner as to relatively enable the rotary movement to a prescribed angle with each other. To an end part of the input shaft 1 a pin 4 is firmly provided, and an L-shaped lever 5 is swivellably supported to said pin 4 by a ring 7. At one end of the lever 5 a slotted notch 8 is formed into which a pin 9 of the output shaft 2 is inserted. At the other end of the lever 5 a ball 10 is welded and engaged with a spool valve. When a rotary angle is produced in the input shaft 1 by an operation of the steering handle, its torque is transmitted to the output shaft 2, then the ball 10 of the lever 5 axially makes a displacement in accordance with the displacement of the rotary angle due to their relative rotary movememt, resulting in the conversion into the axial displacement of the spool valve that performs a selecting operation of oil pressure.
