Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a repeated use of the same form by a method wherein an erasing head is installed at an input side of a form applied with particles of a chalcogenide glass and a write-in head is installed at an input side of the same form. CONSTITUTION:A form 1 applied with chalcogenide glass particles is moved by means of rollers 5, 6. When the form 1 is used two times, the particles of a chalcogenide glass on the form 1 have its refractive index changed corresponding to the given information and are isomerized already. Therefore, first of all, the chalcogenide glass is made to restore the original transparent state by heating through an erasing head 12. After a blank paper state is restored in this way, when the form passes through a write-in head holding part 7, a required information is formed as a dot pattern of light by means of a write-in head 8 and an information wherein chalcogenide glass on the corresponding form 1 is isomerized, is recorded. When quite a brand-new form is used, the erasing head 12 does not operate and only the writein part actuates.
