CONSTITUTION:The clocking reference signal of the oscillating circuit 11 is divided by the dividing circuit 12 and then supplied to the watch counter 14, and then the clocking output of the second, minute and the like is supplied to the display control circuit 15. The signal given from the circuit 12 is supplied to the melody circuit 13 and the switch input control circuit 16 to perform the ON/OFF control for the time setting of the alarm memory 17 as well as the melody tone of the circuit 13. At the same time, a coincidence is detected at the comparator 18 between the clocking data of the counter 14 and the time data of the memory 17. The comparator 18 then supplies the detection signal to the circuit 13 to produce the melody tone from the sound generating mechanism. The switch input signal to be supplied to the frequency multiply/switching circuit inside the circuit 13 is set as ''1'' level, and then the clocking reference signal is multiplied to be supplied to the programable divider.
