Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve operating characteristic of input by outputting each tone for a fixed time at each completion of input assignment of each tone and using the same as monitor tone at the time of inputting the scale of melody part or the main tones of chords.

CONSTITUTION: When melody input keys of a keyboard 100 are pushed and the numerical keys corresponding to the music number of the music to be entered next are pushed, then numerical information is applied to a computer 300, which in turn determines the leading address to be inputted with the data of the melody part of the assigned music number of a memory element 330 according to the programs having beforehand been stored in a ROM 320 and stores the same in the melody part data leading address memory region of the assigned music number in the music number leading address supervising region having been determined in the RAM 330. Next, the computer 300 computes the control signals of the sound source circuit 700 shich outputs the corresponding scale, counts the signals by a standard time oscillation circuit 200 and outputs the monitor tones. Thereby, it may be checked that each tone has been inputted to the apparatus and therefore the operating characteristic may be improved
