Abstract

PURPOSE: To subsequently select and produce the plural sounds having been assigned based on the numerical signals indicating the sequence of the sounds to be produced by providing a means of assigning the arpeggio constituting sounds to be arpeggio-played based on key touching.

CONSTITUTION: From a key coder memory circuit, the key codes KC corresponding to arpeggio constituting sounds and other depressed key sounds are subsequently sent to a channel processor CPC. They are also supplied to a pattern generator PG via the circuit KDC exclusive for the detected function switch date. The pattern generator PG receives these function data and outputs various patterns necessary for forming the musical tones at the automatic accomplishment. In the channel processor CPC, the operation of subsequently assigning the key codes KC being sent to the channel to produce sound is accomplished. In the key coder KCD, a channel for merely creating a vacant time which does not make operation such as detection at all is provided in the channels of the block memory circuit of a block detection circuit BDC in order to create time.
