Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the constitution of a detector, by installing a counter which counts the number of words between the prescribed error bit and the next one among those added to each word of each restored original word block.

After this, each word arrangement is restored and the distance between error words is detected by the check bit in each word block to give a correction to the error word.
