Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to construct a high-output power plant on the field, by pre- installing a casing, speed ring, lower cover and draft tube at the construction field of a power plant, and then mounting a water turbine and a generator on the casing and other parts.
CONSTITUTION: A casing 1, speed ring 2' lower cover 3 and draft tube 4 are welded together at the construction field of a power plant and buried in concrete 5. Other structural parts than those mentioned above, such as a generator 6, main shaft 7, cover 9 and metal case 8, are preassembled in a factory and transported to the construction field, where they are mounted on the preinstalled casing 1 and other structural parts. By employing such a method, it is enabled to construct a hydroelectric power plant having a relatively high output easily on the field.
