Abstract
PURPOSE:To completely control the excessive operation to dial pointer and variable capacitor, by absorbing the torque of dial knob with a linking piece through bending the linking piece at the position of rotation limit and latching the gear mechanism to the regulating piece to further greater force. CONSTITUTION:The range in which the movement of dial pointer is limited is determined with the relative relation in the rotating range of a rotating control body 12 and a variable capacitor 13. That is, when the dial knob 9 is turned, gear mechanism turns the control body 12 and it exceeds the rotating limit of the rotary shaft of the variable capacitor, then the linking piece 16 is bent at the limit position and the torque of the knob 9 is absorbed in the linking piece 16. Further, when a greater force is fed to the body 12, the mechanism 8 is latched to the regulating piece 17b, the knob 9 slides with a given friction while it is inserted to the center shaft 8a of the mechanism 8 to prevent the excessive rotation of the mechanism 8. Thus, the excessive operation to the dial pointer and the variable capacitor can completely be controlled.
