Abstract
PURPOSE:To inhibit the exposure signal by obtaining the power level to be applied on a X-ray tube on the basis of the output from means for setting each photographing condition, while to prevent the failure of X-ray tube and the danger on the patient by indicating the said condition. CONSTITUTION:The output from setters 1-3 for tube voltage, tube current and photographing time is provided through inverters 5A-5C, and AND gates 6A-6C to counters 12A-12C, then it makes access to memories 13A-13C where digital values corresponding to each photographing condition is stored, thus to drive a X- ray tube and to indicate its state on indicators 15A-15C. On the other hand, the power level applied on the X-ray tube is calculated by a multiplier 17 and compared with the output from a power memory 16 through comparator 18, then if the former exceeds the latter the exposure signal is inhibited. Consequently, the probability where an operator will set the overload state is reduced, while the safety is improved by the automatic inhibition of the overload.
