Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable to evaluate the performance of the condenser by a method wherein a heat flow sensor is provided in a cooling pipe of the condenser, while temperature detectors are provided in the interior of the condenser, in a cooling- water inlet pipe and in a cooling-water outlet pipe, a flow rate detector is provided in the inlet pipe and the outputs from the sensor and the detectors are inputted into a condenser performance monitoring device.
CONSTITUTION: The heat flow sensor 30 is provided in the cooling pipe 2 of the consenser 1, the temperature detectors 31, 32, 33 are provided in the interior of the condenser 1, in the cooling-water inlet pipe 6 and in the cooling-water outlet pipe 7, respectively, and the flow rate detector 34 is provided in the inlet pipe 6. The outputs from the sensor 30 and the detectors 31, 32, 33 and 34 are inputted into the condenser performance monitoring device 100. Accordingly, the cleanliness of the cooling pipe and a drop of the degree of vacuum in the condenser can be calculated and discriminated so as to evaluate the performance of the condenser.
