Abstract
PURPOSE:To permit a ring-shaped body to be always horizontally shrinkage fitted on a rotor by detecting the inclination angle of the ring-shaped body fitted to the rotor and correcting said inclination. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 1 is horizontally held on a holder 21, and the fitting position of a ring-shaped body 2 on the rotor 1 is measured by using the first measuring apparatus 49. The measured value is used to calculate the deflection angle and the center position of the rotor 1 with respect to the vertical plane perpendicular to the axial direction at the fitting position. Then, the ring-shaped body 2 is held by using clampers 43, and at the position facing the rotor 1 in its axial direction, the position of the ring-shaped body 2 is corrected with respect to the center position of the rotor 1 as well as the posture of the ring-shaped body 2 is corrected with respect to the deflection angle of the rotor 1. Then, the rotor 1 and the ring-shaped body 2 are moved parallel relatively to each other to fit the rotor 1 with the ring- shaped body 2. The inclination angle of the fitted ring-shaped body 2 with respect to the vertical plane is detected by using the second measuring apparatus 51 to correct said inclination.
