Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable water storage and draining for a dam and also to eliminate a dam pollution by a method wherein a drainage port of a dam is made at a place as high as a river bed and a rubber hose connected to the drainage port is elevated.
CONSTITUTION: A drainage port 3 having an approximately 10m diameter is placed at a place as high as a riverbed and hoses 4, 5 made of a material same as an outer skin of a tyre connected to the drainage port are elevated by means of a winch 6. When the hoses are pulled up by the winch 6, a water level 2 of a dam 1 can be retained at a given level, and when the hoses 4, 5 are lowered to the position 4', 5', the water of the dam 1 can be entirely drained. In this way, since the place wherein a draining is performed is a place as high as the riverbed, sediment is not accumulated in the dam 1 and a muddiness of a river water does not last continuously.
