CONSTITUTION: A heat accumulating medium 12 such as polyethylene glycol, solid at the normal temperature and having a melting point of 25W70°C, is charged into a plurality of solar heat accumulating apparatus 7 having a freely opened transparent plate 8 at its top, which are mounted on a truck 2 designed to be capable of entering under the floor 4 of a house 1 and also coming out therefrom to the outside of the house. A light absorbing black surface is formed over the outer surfaces of the solar heat accumulating apparatus 7. In the daytime, apparatus 7 are carried on truck 2 to the outside of the house with the transparent plate 8 being kept closed for absorbing solar heat in heat accumulating medium 12 while causing melting of the medium 12. In the night, on the other hand, apparatus 7 is placed under the floor with its transparent plate 8 being opened for releasing latent heat of solidification from the medium 12, so that the room can be heated effectively also during night.
