Abstract

PURPOSE: To heighten thermal efficiency, by overlapping an obverse plate with a reverse plate whereon gutter-like recesses are juxtaposed with one another and connected to one another at one end through another gutter-like recess, so that these recesses are sealed up and heat pipe sections and an evaporation zone are formed.
CONSTITUTION: A heat panel is made of an obverse plate 1 and a reverse plate 6. A plurality of gutter-like recesses 7 are juxtaposed with one another at a regular spacing on the reverse plate 6. The recesses 7 are connected to one another at one end through another gutter-like recess 8. The obverse plate 1 is overlapped with the reverse plate 6 so that both the recesses 7, 8 are sealed up and heat pipe sections 18 consisting of the gutter-like recesses 7 and an evaporation zone 9 are formed. A pipe 4, through which a heat medium is caused to flow, is laid through the evaporation zone 9. After the heat pipe sections 8 and the evaporation zone 9 are evacuated, a working liquid such as chlorodifluoromethane, ammonia or water is put in the heat pipe sections and the evaporation zone. Since the upper side of each heat pipe section 8 is the obverse plate 1 of the heat panel, the efficiency of heat radiation from the obverse plate is very high.
