Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the constitution of a digital-signal selective-level measuring apparatus by transmitting two signals corresponding to the real-number portion and the imaginary-number portion obtained by converting the external input digital signal into two identical data over a common path by time-division multiplexing.
CONSTITUTION: The external input digital signal is added to a multiplexing converter 5 to double the signalling rate of the data identical with the external input digital signal and transmit it twice successively, and the output is added to one input end of a multiplier 10. On the other hand, in a digital signal generator 9 a sin signal having a given frequency from a digital generator 6 is digitally generated. Moreover, through a switch 8 the sin signal is applied to a π/2 phase advancer 7 to convert into a cos signal. The sin and cos signals are changed over and inputted to the multiplier 10. Its output is inputted through a filter 11, a squarer 12, an adder 13 and unit delay means 14 to a digital integrator 18. The integrated output is converted into a logarithm in a logarithmic converter 19.
