Abstract

PURPOSE:To make efficient the work for carrying inventories in and out of the storage facilities by reading the discrimination signals and the positional scales therefor by means of a reader and inputting the same in an electronic computer when the inventories are stored in the storage facilities wherein a plurality of frames for storing respectively more than two inventories, at least, of the same category. CONSTITUTION:The discrimination signal of the inventory 10 is determined by operating a terminal I and a label is stuck to a prescribed position on the inventory. Meanwhile, by also operating the terminal I, the frame 3 ready for storage is retrieved by the electronic computer E, an instruction is given to a carrying device D and the frame 3 is transferred on to a stand 12. After that, the inventory 10 is stored in the frame 3, whereon the reader H is moved, reading out the discrimination marks of the inventory 10 and the frame 3 and the positional scale corresponding respective article 10 and inputting the same in the computer E. After these operations are completed, the carrying device D is operated to store the frame 3 in the prescribed section C. On the occasion of carrying out the inventory, by inputting the discrimination marks of the invertory 10, etc., the frame 3 is put on the stand 12 and the position of the aimed article 10 is indicated by a light in an indicator G.
