Abstract

PURPOSE: To realize a thin and small-size structure for a tape recorder, by providing a hollow part to the reel shaft and putting the motor into the hollow part.
CONSTITUTION: A hollow part is provided inside the reel shaft 5, and both the stator part of a motor comprising the yoke 18 plus the driving coils 20, 21 and the rotor part consisting of the magnet 23 and the shaft 22 are put into the hollow part. The current is supplied to the coils 20 and 21 via the flexible circuit substrate 15, and as a result the rotating force is produced at the magnet 23 to be transmitted to the shaft 5 via the reduction gear containing 4 units of gears 27W30 as well as the shaft 22. Thus the shaft 5 is turned.
