Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize a high-accuracy reproduction through an optical recorder/reproducer, by incorporating the laser beam heating means which heats up the micro region of a magnetic substance, the detecting means of line of magnetic force which detects the change of the residual magnetization of the micro region and the shifting means of the magnetic substance. CONSTITUTION:The micro region spot 7 on the magnetic region is heated up by the laser beam 5 while giving the change of magnetic field based on the recording information through the magnetic head which functions as a detecting means of the line of magnetic force. Then the tape 1 is made to travel to record the information on the track 8. The information thus recorded is traced again by the same device, and thus the micro region recorded is heated up to reduce the residual magnetization. This change of reduction is detected through the magnetic head 4 and then processed through a detection circuit to read out the recorded information. As a result, a recorder/reproducer which can reproduce in a high accuracy the information immediately after recording with no transfer can be obtained through a simple constitution.
