Abstract
PURPOSE:To record a forward and a backward track on a tape for duplicator simultaneously, by performing reproduction by using two disks on which a forward and a backward signal are recorded respectively. CONSTITUTION:On an optical disk 1, a forward signal is recorded and on an optical disk 1', a backward signal is recorded. Then, those two disks are turned in one body by a motor 6. The signal on the disk 1 is reproduced by a detection head 9 starting with its outer circumference, and that on the disk 1' is reproduced by a detection head 9' starting with its inner circumference. Therefore, the forward and backward signals D and T are dubbled to a tape T for duplicator simultaneously from a reproduction start position. Namely, the reproduction of the disk 1 is performed in the forward direction, and the reproduction of the disk 1' is performed in the backward direction, thus performing recording. Consequently, a forward and a backward track are recorded simultaneously.
