Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the noise occurrence for a noncontact type infrared-ray detector, by forming an impedance converting circuit on the substrate and at the same time burying the above-mentioned circuit by the material which absorbs or reflects the infrared-rays. CONSTITUTION:The impedance converting circuit 2 of the pyroelectric infrared-ray detection element 1 is provided on the alumina substrate 20 and also buried with the material to absorb or reflect the infrared rays such as the silicone resin 28 colored in balck. In such constitution, a part of the infrared-rays received by the pyroelectric infrared-ray detection element 1 is irradiated also onto the circuit 2. These infrared- rays, however, are absorbed almost by the resin 28 and never reach the circuit 2. Thus no photocurrent is caused to the FET4. The FET4 is provided preferably at the center of the substrate 20 to secure the maximum burying thickness with the resin 28.
