Abstract

When necessary, additionally the third layer containing a mixture of an adsorbent and an antacid 3 is prepared. Then, they are combined together to form the tablet of acetylsalicylic acid. In order to reduce the affection of water, the adsorbent added contrally contains a large amount of water, so the decomposition of acetylsalicylic acid is promoted, when it is stood as a mixture with the adsorbent. Therefore, they are separated and the decomposition is reduced even when the tablet is stored under high-temperature and high-humidity conditions.
