Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a transfer apparatus capable of miniaturizing an apparatus and making maintenance and inspection of a sensor or the like easy by providing a paper withdrawing roller, a paper conveying mechanism and a paper catching and supplying mechanism below a card conveying passage and an imprint standard.
CONSTITUTION: A card 1 to be transferred having protruded letter symbols 1a is inserted from an inserting and withdrawing port 2 and conveyed onto an imprint standard 4 through a card conveying passage 3 provided with various kinds of sensors 5, 6, 7a, 7b. Then, a transfer paper is stacked on the card 1 and the protruded letter symbols 1a are transferred thereto. Subsequently, the card 1 to be transferred is again recovered from the inserting and withdrawing port 2 through the card conveying passage 3. On the other hand, the transfer paper after transferring is withdrawn downwardly by a paper withdrawing roller 22 and caught by a catching and supplying mechanism 23 and, subsequently, conveyed to the inserting and withdrawing port 2 through the paper conveying mechanism 21.
