Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce occurrence of fracture and to stabilize pressing pressure against conventional devices, by pressing a movable board from the backside with a press cam which can be operated from the outside towards the liquid room composed of a pile of press filter boards which contains movable boards.
CONSTITUTION: At the pressing device in which press filter boards 3, the front and back surfaces of which are formed with a pair of movable board 16 fitted to outer frame 15, are piled up or the press filter board 3 and ordinary filter board 4 are piled up, and the liquid contained in liquid room 24 formed by piling up of filter boards, is pressed by pushing above-mentioned movable board 16, it has been arranged that shaft 12 of press cam 17 located in between a pair of movable boards 16 is extruded through outer frame 15 and handle 11 and cam 17 can be rotated together. The filtrating crude liquid is supplied to liquid room 14 through inlet 13 and a high pressure is given to the liquid room by means of piston 7, shaft 8, handle 11 and movable board 16. This device gives less trouble when compared with conventional diaphragm type of pressing devices, and a high compressing ratio is maintained.
