Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the occurrence of exfoliation of an interlayer insulator at the end of a pancake-shaped coil by forming the cross sectional area of an electric conductor at the end smaller than that of the conductor except the end and increasing the thickness of the interlayer insulator at the end than that of the interlayer insulator except the end. CONSTITUTION:The electric conductor 4 of the pancake-shaped coil end is reduced in cross sectional area, and the interlayer insulator 5 at the coil end thus reduced in the cross sectional area is increased in thickness. An energizing terminal 6 is mounted at the electric conductor 2 directly before the conductor reduced in cross sectional area. The interlayer insulator 5 at the coil end is projected longer than the electric conductor at the coil end, thereby preventing an electric discharge from the conductor 4.
