Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify manufacturing process to a large extent and also to improve yield by winding a long banded ply constituting material spirally on a core. CONSTITUTION:A core 7 is obtained beforehand from a molten alloy 7' through cast molding or extrusion molding by measn of molds 21, 21'. Next, a ply constituting material 1' is wound on the core 7, and a tread 3 and a side wall 4 which constitute an armoring are sticked on the molded ply 1. Then, the core 7 is fused and liquefied to flow outward by heating it to a given temperature. The flowed molten alloy 7'' is recovered to a core molding process. After molding, a tyre is put into molds 22, 22' to completion through vulcanization on heated vapor. A process for bead installation and ply turnup is thus omitted, and ply molding is extremely simplified. Then in vulcanizing process, there is no bead provided and the ply 1 is almost circular in section, therefore a construction of the molds 22, 22' is also simplified as compared with a conventional one.
