Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce space between contact points and to obtain many contact points within a narrow range by providing a plural number of strip-shaped wires consisting of a pair of thermocouple material on a base composed of heat and electric insulators and forming a vortex-type thermopile with the said strip-shaped wire in series. CONSTITUTION:A plural number of strip-shaped wires 3, 4 consisting of a pair of thermocouple materials are adhered on the surface of an alumina substrate 1 which is a heat and electric insulator with the help of an adhesive, so that a thermopile is formed. That is, wires 3, 4 are alternately arranged in a series connection, so that they form a vortex shape with the same number of connecting lines 4, 5 which are disposed between the pieces of the former. In addition, terminal parts 6, 7 are provided on the inner and outer sides of the vortex and a terminal part 8 is formed, if necessary, for wire 3 directly connected to wire 2 having the terminal part. In this manner, a pair of wires are extended from one connection part, i.e. a thermocouple contact point into an opposite direction. Then a test sample container and control sample container are deposited on the connection parts 4, 5 as indicated by dotted lines 9, 10. Following this step, they are placed inside a furnace to detect a voltage generated between the terminals 6, 7.
