PURPOSE:To cause the resonance output to assume a maximum value by fitting a curvature reflection mirror with a simple construction without using parts of high precision and a complicated adjusting mechanism by carrying out fusing of a curvature reflection mirror constituting a photoresonator through a permeation hole for laser light. CONSTITUTION:A thin tube 2 generating a plasma of a high density which becomes a laser medium is arranged coaxially in an outer casing 1 of a gas laser tube, and a flat plate 21 having at its center a beam permeating and mode defining hole 22 is fixed to one end surface of the above thin tube 2 by means of a bonding agent 24. The diameter of the flat plate 21 is made greater than that of the thin tube 2, and further is greater than the outer contour dimension of a curvature reflection mirror 23 constituting one of the resonant mirrors of the laser tube, and can adjust the light from the reflection mirror 23 on the surface of the flat plate 21 to different positions. As the reflection mirror 23 is moved on the flat plate 21 as shown by arrow B, it is fixed so that the reflection light passes on the shaft of the thin tube 2 and the output of the resonator becomes maximum between it and the other reflection mirror.
