Abstract
PURPOSE: To enable to utilize the hot water effectively by a method wherein an auxiliary tank is installed below a hot-water reserving tank of a solar heat collector and a heat medium which generates heat upon crystallization is charged into the auxiliary tank.
CONSTITUTION: The auxiliary tank 13 is installed below the hot-water reserving tank 11 of the solar heat collector 1 so to be capable of functioning as a heat medium and a heat medium 14 such as decahydrate of sodium sulfate which generates heat upon crystallization is charged into the auxiliary tank 13. Accordingly to this method, when the temperature of hotwater in the hot-water tank 11 and the same of the heat medium 14 are reduced as the ambient air temperature is reduced and the temperature of the heat medium 14 becomes lower than the crystallizing temperature of decahydrate of sodium sulfate, the heat medium 14 causes an exothermic reaction and heats the hotwater in the hot-water reserving tank 11. Accordingly, a temperature reduction of the hotwater may be delayed and the hotwater may be utilized when a considerable time is elapsed after the sun set, therefore, effective utilization of the hotwater is enabled.
