Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide a cooling bag having elongated cooling time, high cooling efficiency, and containing a mixture of a freezing agent and an alum to control the deliquescence, and a heat-insulating material mixed therein to prevent the self- deliquescence of the mixture and the rupture of the bag containing the alum, etc.
CONSTITUTION: A mixture of hydrated crystal powder 9 of Al, Fe or Cr alum and granules of hydrated sulfate crystal 10 is further mixed with an anti-agglomeration material 11 such as talc powder, a heat insulating material 11A, and a cold-keeping material 11B. The mixture is sealed in a small tearable bag 12 made of a uniaxially oriented synthetic resin film. The small bag 12 is wrapped with pieces of heat- insulating film paper 4 and 4', and inserted into a large bag 1. The inner surface of the large bag 1 is laminated with the heat-insulating film paper 3 and 3'. The space between the small bag 12 and the large bag 1 is filled with a freezing agent 5' (moletn mixture), an anti-agglomeration material 6, granules of heat-insulating material 7, and a cold-keeping material 8. After fusing the above materials together, the large bag is closed and sealed. The outer surface of the large bag 1 is coated with an anti-fogging agent 1A, and covered with a heat-insulating and cushoning resin film 1B. The combination of the present invention delays the deliquescence of the freezing agent, and elongates the cold-keeping time by more than 30%.
