Abstract

PURPOSE:To suppress the decrease in the performance of the hybrid type step motor due to the interference of magnetic fluxes by winding at least one phase stator winding independently on two stators provided corresponding to two rotors aligned, reducing the rotor inertia and decreasing the length of the stator winding. CONSTITUTION:The rotors 2 and 3 having a number of rotor teeth are aligned in parallel on the outer periphery on one rotor shaft 21. A ring 6 formed of magnetic material is provided between the rotors 2 and 3. The stators 11 and 12 having four stator poles corresponding to the rotors 2 and 3 are provided between brackets 7 and 8, and stator windings are wound thereon for the phases A and B. A cylindrical ferrite magnet 24 magnetized in a direction of the rotor axis 1 is disposed between the stators 11 and 12. Thus, the rotor inertia can be reduced, and the entire length of the stator winding can be shortened.
