PURPOSE:To precisely seal an electron gun frame body at the preset position in a cathode-ray tube bulb by inhibiting the relative misregister in the direction of the frame body rotation for the frame body means by way of the force of a spring means. CONSTITUTION:The engagement area 60 with the central aperture 58 is fit in the cylindrical shaft 16 between the intermeidate member 49 and the disk-shaped member 55 and moves upward and downward together with the cylindrical shaft 16. This engagement member 60 has the engagement surface 60 which matches the central aperture 48 of the intermediate member 49 at the head. The flange 60b is provided on the lower end surface of the engagement member 60 and the compression spring 62 is inserted between this flange 60b and the disk-shaped member 55. The cylindrical shaft 16 penetrates in this compression spring 62. The engagement surface 60a of the engagement member 60 is normally pressure-engaged with the aperture 48 of the intermediate 49 by way of the force of the compression spring 62. This can precisely seal an electron gun frame body at the preset position in a bulb.
