Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of color flushing by recording signals while shifting the phase lock point of a drum servo circuit by 1.H when the frame of a reproduced color video signal differs from that of an editing color video signal. CONSTITUTION:When the frame of video signal SP reproduced by rotary magnetic head 21 differs form that of input video signal SI, switching circuit 12 is changed over and frame signal SF shifted by 1H from the normal signal is supplied to phase servo circuit 20. Therefore, the position lock point of circuit 20 is shifted by 1H, so that video signal SP will be reproduced by head 21 by being shifted by 1H on the whole. Thus, the 3rd field of signal SP agrees in phase with a color burst signal in the 1st field of signal SI completely. Consequently, the phase of the color burst signal never discontinues before and after the editing point.
