Abstract

PURPOSE: To avoid the color shift of the slave tape by turning off the comb-line circuit which eliminates the crosstalk component of the carrier chrominance signal for the magnetic tape at the dubbing time.
CONSTITUTION: For the magnetic master tape with the high-density recording given, signal (a) having inversion every 1H is recorded in field A with recording of signal (b) having no inversion recorded in field B respectively. In case the dubbing is given from the master tape to the slave tape, the recording is carried out with no invention of the crosstalk eliminating circuit consisting of 1H delay line 14 and adder circuit 15. As a result, the crosstalk is recorded in every field on the slave tape. At the reproducing time the output is carried out via the 1H delay circuit and the adder circuit. Thus signal (g) free from the crosstalk of field B is obtained at field A; and the signal free from the A-field component can be obtained at field B respectively.
