Abstract

PURPOSE: To sychronize accurately throttle opening of each throttle valve in a simple construction by a mechanism wherein a throttle lever of a throttle valve in a suction passage of V-type engine is communicated to a connecting rod which is operated by means of a control cable.
CONSTITUTION: Carburettors 20a, 20b provided with butterfly-type throttle valves 25a, 25b are connected to the V-type engine 10, and the throttle valves 25a, 25b are arranged in suction passages Pa1, Pb1 of cylinders 11a, 11b which are formed by the carburettors 20a, 20b and the V-type engine 10. The suction passages Pa1, Pb1 are located in almost vertical condition between a forward cylinder 11a and a rearward cylinder 11b of the V-type engine 10. The directions in which the throttle valves 25a, 25b turn round are made same and further, throttle levers 27a, 27b of the respective throttle valves are connected to a connecting rod 42 operated by means of a control cable 41.
