Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the storage stability of an epoxy resin composition, by adding, as a curing agent, a melamine derivative which is an s-triazine derivative to the resin.
CONSTITUTION: An epoxy resin composition which contains, as a curing agent, an s-triazine derivative, i.e., 1,3,5-triazine derivative, represented by the formula, wherein R1W6 are each H, an alkyl, a hydroxyalkyl, an aryl, an aminoaryl, or a heterocyclic ring, and can be the same or different with the proviso that at least one of them is a substituent other than H, shows good storage stability, because the curing agent itself has excellent solubility and storage stability.
