Abstract

PURPOSE:To incline the head lamp is response to a tilt of a car body and keep the beam angle of radiation constant by mounting a link mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A front actuator 5 transmits the motion of a front axle 2 to a passive member 10 through a buffer spring 12 and an oil pressure buffer device 15, and a rear actuator 6 similarly conveys the motion of a rear axle 4 to a passive member 11. Each motion is offset through a differential link 27, and transmitted to a wire 28. The movement of the wire 28 is conveyed to the head lamp adjusting link 29, and the tilt of the head lamp 33 is regulated through a minutely regulating piece 37. Since the differential link is used, the tilt of the car body can be introduced from the displacement of front and rear axles. Since the beam angle of the head lamp is kept constant at all times and the buffer device is employed, the head lamp is not subject to effects even when the axles are vibrated due to irregularity of a road surface.
