Abstract

PURPOSE:To lower the operating rate of a refrigerator compressor by stopping the refrigerator compressor when an evaporator or its blow-off side air temperature is kept at less than a given temperature for given hours. CONSTITUTION:In a comparison amplifier OP1, when the temperature of air on blow-off side is lowered, the voltage of an inversional terminal becomes equal that of a noninversional terminal and output becomes a low level. For a comparison amplifier OP3, as soon as the output of the comparison amplifier OP1 goes a low level, a condensor C begins to discharge and its output turns a low level after the lapse of given hours. By this, electrification to an electromagnetic clutch MC is discontinued and a refrigerator compressor is stopped until the temperature of the compressor rises since the output of the comparison amplifier OP2 is lowered by a diode D2, during which period adherent frost is removed. In case where the temperature slightly rises again within given hours after lowering, the output of the comparison amplifier OP1 goes high level, a condenser C is charged by a diode D1, and operation again starts from when air temperature on blow-off side is lowered.
