Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the titled system capable of largely enhancing the recording speed without being restricted by rise time or fall time by a method wherein a laser beam is modulated in accordance with signals and then deflected, and the deflected laser beams are used for heat-sensitive recording. CONSTITUTION:The laser beam generated by a laser oscillator 11 is fed into a modulator 13 and is subjected to on-off control in accordance with control signals. The modulated laser beams are irradiated onto the mirror 14A of a scanner 14 and are deflected by the scanner 14 rotating in accordance with a synchronizing signal. Heat-sensitive recording paper 17 fed to the focal point of the laser beams by feed rollers 15, 16 is scanned sequentially with the laser beams in the main scanning direction.
