Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the titled pump capable of eliminating the pulsation of ink by a method wherein check valves are provided at the suction and delivery ports of an ink chamber, and a plunger contacted with a bellows diaphragm is operated by an interlocked operation of a spring and a magnet coil. CONSTITUTION:When current is supplied to the magnet coil 31 to excite the latter in nonprinting time, the plunger 28 and the bellows diaphragm 27 are retracted against the elastic force of the spring 30. At this time, a negative pressure is generated in the ink chamber 24, so that the ink is sucked into the chamber 24 through the check valve 21. When the current supply for the coil 31 is stopped before the starting of a sprinting operation, the ink chamber 24 is applied with a pressure by the bellows diaphragm 27. When the latter condition is maintained during the printing of one line, since the check valve 22 is opened and the check valve 21 closed, the ink in the chamber 24 is pressurized and delivered.
