Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease number of parts required and also to decrease number of processes for assembling by enclosing and fixing a display block and a circuit block in a housing consisting of a frame. CONSTITUTION:With the front side of a circuit substrate 6 on which a circuit element is installed kept downward, each wiring terminal is connected electrically to a liquid crystal plate 10 through a striped connector 12, the liquid crystal plate 10 is then simultaneously enclosed, as depressed mechanically, in a housing 1, a retainer of the housing 1 which works as a part of lead is stopped on a peripheral edge of the circuit substrate to fixation, and then connected electrically through each contact. Since an LSI substrate and a wiring obtained through burning a conductive material are provided on the substrate 6, necessary parts are installed thereon and a battery is enclosed in a case 1c. Thus, the battery, the circuit element and the circuit substrate constitute one circuit block, and the liquid crystal plate and a reflecting plate constitute one display block, these being enclosed in the housing integrally, therefore the number of parts required for assembling is decreased, an assembling process is rationalized, and further an assembling precision is improved to a better reliability.
