Abstract
PURPOSE: To indicate a time exceeding a set time on a single counter by actuating a down counter for up count operation when a required time is over.
CONSTITUTION: When a value obtained through counting a required time set by a setting means S on a down counter C turns, to zero the time will be detected by a zero detection means CS1, a buzzer drive controlling circuit BC drives a buzzer circuit B for a given period of time in response thereto, which comes automatically to stop after a constant period of time. Then a transfer controlling means CS2 is actuated in response to the means CS1 and thus causes a controlling means CC to get the counter in up count operation. On the other hand, the value and the direction at count operation are displayed on a time-keeper indicator 5 under control of a display controlling means DC. In this case, the directional display can be discriminated by reversing a simultaneous flashing of AM and PM displayes on a time indicator 5. A single counter is thus capable of indicating times passing and exceeding a set time.
