PURPOSE:To output a signal obtained by emphasizing a random frequency component of an input signal by varying only the amplitude of the frequency component of the input signal while holding its phase information without requiring a weighting pattern. CONSTITUTION:A surface elastic wave excited by tranmitting converter 11 is supplied to receiving converter 14 by way of the 1st reflecting lattice 12 and 2nd reflecting lattice 13. The pattern width and interval of the leftmost reflector of the 1st reflecting lattice 12 are a half wavelength lambdaH of the highest frequency component, and those of the rightmost reflector is a half wavelength lambdaL of the lowest frequency component. The pattern width and interval of the leftmost reflector of the 2nd reflecting lattice 13 is also a half lambdaH, and those of the rightmost reflector a quarter lambdaL. Therefore, the pattern width and interval of an intermediate reflector of the 1st reflecting lattice 12 vary continuously from lambdaH/2 to lambdaL/2, and those of the 2nd one from lambdaH/2 to lambdaL/4.
