Abstract
PURPOSE:To uniformly disperse the materials to be treated with good efficiency by passing the materials repeatedly plural times through a dispersion vessel which disperses the materials by means of media. CONSTITUTION:Materials are supplied at a constant rate from a material supply pipe provided with a constant flow supply device 60. Media 2 are packed in a dispersing vessel 1, and are agitated by an agitator 3 having vanes 32, whereby the materials to be treated are dispersed. At this time, a medium outflow preventing screen 15 is provided at the outflow end 13 of the vessel and the materials are circulated through the vessel 1-circulating pipe 5-vessel 1 by means of a pump 4 so that they are subjected to the action of the media in the vessel plural times and are thereby finely dispersed. The rate of the material supply from the pipe 6 is kept at less than a fraction of the material circulating rate of the pump 4 and the amount conforming to the supply rate is discharged from the discharge port 7 provided to the pipe 5. Since this causes the materials to pass the inside of the circulating pipe at high speeds, the homogeneous treatment is made possible by the agitation action.
