Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a wire from being housed in a concentrated state at one portion of a pail pack and make the entire part even by rotating the pail pack at a low speed in the winding direction of the wire.
CONSTITUTION: A pail-pack-wound wire A is produced by rotating a rotating guide tube 22 in the direction of the arrow C cooperatively with a feed capstan 21, force- feeding a wire 2 into the wire housing part 3 of the pail pack 1 while winding the same and winding the wire successively upward from its bottom. At this time, the pail pack 1 is rotated together with a table plate 4 and a base plate 5 at a low speed in the direction of the arrow D of the winding plane B-B' direction of the wire 2. Because of this, the wire 2 which is fed forcedly into the pail pack 1 while being wound is housed evenly over its entire part without being housed in a concentrated state at one portion of the pail pack 1 even when the winding center of the wire 2 is off-centered.
